We have a 2014 Forza 38R purchased in June and really like it. It is not without issues just as any other RV you purchase new or for that matter used. We have owned a tag along and three 5th wheels (one a toy hauler) and have had issues with each one of them, some minor and some not. Our dealer in Lexington has been really great about helping us get issues resolved. Some of the issues with the Forza have been: 1. check engine light came on first week after we picked it up.....found a busted quick connect line for the DEF......replaced and fixed the problem 2. front roof AC whistled......replaced front roof AC 3. Driver side window locking mechanism would not lock letting air/noise inside.....replaced window. 4. rolling door cover over dryer missing bottom piece.....door replaced. If you think you are going to buy something new and not have any problems I don't think it's going to happen. We first looked at the Tiffin 33aa but decided on the Forza 38R because of the second bathroom and the convertible dinette/bunkbeds mid-coach. The things I don't like is that the kitchen pantry does not have pull out shelves ( I just added some pull out trays), there is not enough kitchen counter space to my liking (thinking about ways to solve this or maybe I just have too much stuff), and it's a little narrow getting in the coach on the passenger side but once you get in there is a lot of room. There is a hookup for a tv outside and although it didn't come with a tv, we already had one purchased for another RV that we can use. There is tons of basement storage. The full wall slide make it a little difficult to get to the passenger side storage and we've bumped our heads more than once. All in all each RV is a learning experience. It is frustrating when you encounter a problem, especially far from home. When we've purchased each RV we've tried to do a shake down run close by to find problems, get them fixed, then another shake down run. And as one person told me....you catch more bees with honey. When you take your RV in to be serviced...be nice but firm....and be informed before you get there. These forums are great places to find out problems people have had and how they have solved them. The service departments are usually glad for information that helps them give better service.

One more issue I forgot to mention with the 38R.....they forgot to hook up the ice maker line so the first time we took it out and tried to use it, it didn't work. We could hear water like it was coming in but no water. We didn't leave it on long before we went outside to check and saw water dripping out of the basement storage. Thankfully we didn't have a lot stored in the bay area where it was leaking and the weather was warm so it dried quickly with the aid of some fans. No damage on the inside that we could tell.

And we also had issues with the coach being all over the road. After reading many forums concerning this we asked our dealer to lower the pressure in the tires. My husband says this has made all the difference in the world

oopypic, I disabled the side cameras a couple of months ago like it much better. I like to look at the toad when exiting off the freeway. Also it was annoying trying to look at the GPS when stopped at a light and getting ready to turn.

Not because of any problems but because we had them on our larger unit and my husband could definitely feel difference w/o Safe-T-Plus. He actually loved the way the Forza drives. Not sure if that is a comment on how nice it is or compared to the 2004 we traded in! LOL!
We just purchased a 2015 Forza 34T and I'm considering adding the same chassis enhancements. Can you give me your thoughts on how item improved the ride?
Thanks!

Lot's of good info here, we were looking at Forza last week, we really like the new 36G version with three slides, we'll see what happens.

Bought a 2014 Forza 34T last year. Wanted to get shorter, less heavy with some newer amenities. Had a 2006 Horizon, but lots of little problems here and there. Had 1 round at the dealer which proved to be a mess. Although my issues were fixed, working with the dealer has been terrible. Had similar driving issues as others. Took it to an alignment/suspension specialist. Decided to purchase the Safe-T-Plus, Motion Control units and new Koni shocks. What a difference a few days make. This thing drives better than my 40' Horizon. No more fighting to stay in a lane. Steering wheel is nice and stiff. I can take corners faster with more confidence. The roll and tail wag is all but eliminated. Cross winds will still push the coach, but not to the extent it once did. You feel much more in control and my driver fatigue has been eliminated where I don't feel like I'm white knuckle driving. I HIGHLY recommend getting your Forza over to an alignment specialist for RV's and having them take a look. Had the coach weighed (extremely crucial). The total coach is weighing in around 23,240 pounds loaded with my stuff, full tanks except for water which was about 1/4 full (the way I usually leave the house). My tires pressures were lowered (90 in the front, 85 in the rear), the tow was out slightly instead of in slightly. The Caster was off so a caster shim was put in place. The Forza shocks could be compressed with your two hands, nothing more. Basically, there was nothing there to help the air bags and the coach stabilize. Now it's a dream. Also fixed the water heater issue by putting in a Girard tankless unit. No more cold shower issues. Doing a mod now to put in a power cord reel (low profile) so I can put in a shelf above for other stuff and have extra room in a compartment that has a ton of room, yet isn't used well. Will probably do the same with the water hose.

All in all, the coach is great. Awesome floorplan and now comfortable to drive. Love the mid-entry door, kitchen etc. For a smaller DP, the coach has an amazing amount of storage space both outside and inside. The couch could be more comfy so maybe I'll see if an auto upholstery guy can take the cushions and put in some nicer foam/material on them but other than that, I'm pleased with it thus far.

Bought 2014 Forza 38R last week and have stayed 1 night in it.. Can't find the hot water heater bypass. The walk thru fellow said he would show us where it was but forgot. Also it has fog light switch but I don't notice any lights coming on.

pjohnmiller, There is not a hot water heater bypass on your coach. Your manual talks about using air to blow out the water lines. Here is a good link.

The drawing does not show any fog lights there is some LED strips light on each side maybe that is what the switch is for.

Forza Suspension mods

Curious if anyone that's had the suspension mods made on their Forza or Soleil (ie, Safe-T-Plus, SSE Motion Controls, SS Trim Unit, and/or 4 Koni FSD's) could give any comments on how it compares to Newmar's Comfort Drive that is standard in their Ventana coaches?

Guess we just got lucky. Have just topped 5,000 miles with our 2014 Forza 34T and no driving or handling problems. Just returned from south Florida and much of travel was in moderate to high winds, especially on. I95 and at 75 mph, with no problem. Certainly less than our precious Chieftain and it had all the suspension mods.

So far the 34T has exceeded our expectations in all categories including handling

I've had my 34T all of a couple of weeks now. I bought it at the Ralley in Phoenix so have to take it down south to Albuquerque or Phoenix for maintenance. First problem was the line connecting the shower to the on/off wasn't set. Ended up with a foot bath the first time we used it. Luckily on the 34T, access to the shower is behind the mirror, so only a couple of hours fix. I still have a couple of minor gripes that I am taking back to the shop. My biggest two concerns are a small drip off of the Radiator and a larger drip from the Onan generator that might also be radiator related. The latch for the portable table also seems to have failed and the shower door keeps popping out when on bumpy road.

But she is sure fun to drive and sleep in!

You might also keep an eye on bedroom door hangers. They have a tendency to back out from vibration. Easy to fix but a bit of a pain when you cannot open or close door.

We had a problem with the latches for the couch extension not holding during travel, finally got them adjusted so that they hold. Only problem with table latch was caused by level adjustments. If the adjustment screws are too high, the latch will not catch. Run the screws up and the latch works as designed.

We love out 34T but like all motorhomes, there are always irritations. Our last trip included learning how to reprogram MCD shades, finding incorrectly positioned valves on water heater bypass valves (had bypass added by dealer), etc.

Headed out again next week for two months starting with rally of TN Winnebago clubs and on to Florida exploring for a good snowbird location

Thanks for the feedback RolandM!

My wife has one other minor gripe that I wonder if anyone else has seen and fixed? When she closes the refrigerator, the freezer door pops open. Seems like the freezer magnets aren't strong enough. Anyone have any ideas?

Loud squeak forza 38r

We've had our 2014 Forza 38R just over a year. A couple of weeks ago we left for a short trip to a state park in middle ohio. Everything was fine when we left but upon entering construction area and rough roads around cincinnati we started hearing a squeak on passenger side wall in area just behind the co-pilot seat. The sound was annoying at first but just kept getting louder and louder. I read one member's description of their squeak as "like two balloons being rubbed together" and this is what ours sounds like too. This squeak continued as we traveled through dayton's construction and rough roads on to our destination. The return trip home....more of the same. I've read on the forum about squeaks from other members. We tried making sure our coach was level when putting slides in, lubing the steps, checking the patio awning for any issues, etc. Our rv is currently being serviced and we' ve asked them to test drive to see if they can find the source. Just wondering if there are any suggestions out there.

There is not a hot water heater in the Forza.
