What is this rocker switch for? 2010 Vista 30W

Can anyone tell me what the unmarked rocker switch on the right is for? It is a 2010 Vista 30W. Thanks.

Rocker switch

I have this same switch on the side panel as I enter my 2006 Meridian. When in the on position, when you open a basement compartment the light will come on. In the off position the light will not come on. Hope this helps.

I don't see the switch on your wiring installation (page 4).

Are you the original owner? Could it be something someone added before you owned it? Maybe a disconnect for the outside entertainment center?

Here's the Body, 12 Volt Wiring Installation diagram for your coach. Zooming in on page 4 of the pdf (and in Detail DH on the next page) you can see the switches and floor light on the left in your picture. I don't see the unlabeled switch on the right in your photo in the wiring diagram--perhaps it was added by a previous owner?

Winnebago labels all of their 12V wiring every few inches, so f you can get access to the wires on the back of the switch you should be able to identify what it's controlling. You can look up the labels in the Wiring Identification Guide.

Thanks. I just purchased. It does not have outside entertainment center.

Does the porch light switch also control the light in the door grab handle?

It has two blue wires. There is no light in the grab handle so doesn't work that. It is a simple on/off dpst switch

I would expect Winnebago wiring to be yellow (hot) and white (ground) and it definately would be labelled every few inches.

There is no AC or DC to it, so I think someone planned to install an inverter but never did.

That's the exact same layout as on our 2010 Vista 32k. We do not have that switch on the right. There is a fire extinguisher there. Above those disconnects and extinguisher sare two switches (one for an overhead light and the other for the outside and step lights.

Maybe a planned inverter switch. The inverter would be right behind it, in my application.

Or maybe they had an inverter, and took it out when they sold it?

They used a nice matching switch, was probably a nice installation if that's the case.

The Rocker Switch

This looks like the switch I have that controls my Kwikee motorized stairs. It can keep them out when you are camping instead of going in and out as you open the door. But, as we know, looks can sometimes be deceiving.

Nope, that is the top switch on the left. Maybe the prior owner who installed it will read the post.

Probably an on/off switch for overhead light that also has a switch on the light itself. Our Minnie has one just inside the door for easier access to turning on a light coming in, rather than having to reach overhead in the dark. One over rides the other.

Possibly an additional switch for the porch light/step light? In any case, since the wires are blue, it is not original Winnebago wiring/installation.
