Turn Jensen player off!??

Has anyone any idea of why there is no OFF switch on the Jensen player??? I have a 2011 Itasca (new to me last year) and I don't use the entertainment system at all, not even when I'm in an RV park fully hooked up. Or is there an off switch I haven't found??

Thank you,
Max

Mine has a power button on the front. I think it is blue when on. The screen stays lighted when the power is off but you can also turn the screen off. As i recall it has four settings.

Is a toggle that shuts power off to the unit. Mine has a logo that looks like an old transistor radio.

Mine doesn't seem to have a "transistor radio" switch. The off/on button and to be useless. Thank you,

What do you mean by turning off? The power switch will turn it on and off but the display is independent of the switch. I'm not sure about your model but the Jensen units we have had in our last two trailers had a setup option to turn the display off.

Thanks. My choice Light {1, 2, 3} where 1 is grey. Now the difference between the battery voltage at the solar panel and inside is .1. That's a 50% improvement. Thank you. I still don't need the entertainment device both TVs are unplugged. :-):-)

Can you take a picture of the toggles on your dash below the stereo? Mine are below and to the left under the nav screen.

Don't you have a switch on your dash that is called Radio Pwr? AUX/MAIN labled on either side?

In my rig, if I switch that to MAIN and turn the RV's IGN key off, the radio display goes out, the speakers are silent. Basically I'm putting it in the 'auto' mode like when you're driving and you stop and switch off the car key. Like in a car, the radio goes dead. But the clock keeps time.

I use that switch exclusively when I'm parked at a RV park and want to shut the radio off. I use it in AUX mode to give me either radio during the day or surround sound through the radio amps when the signal is from the TV. So usually it's on when I'm in a park during TV viewing time up until bedtime.

Bedroom unit? The power button on mine is to the left of the clock/station window.

Jensen Shut Off Switch

Not sure that this would apply, but, a number of electronic tuners have a default switch built into the power button.

Depress power button and HOLD DOWN for approximately 5 seconds.

Hope this works for you
