TPMS on 2016 Winnebago Itasca Meridian 40R

Does anyone know if there is a tire pressure monitor on a 2016 Itasca Meridian 40R and if so, how do I access it.

That would be awesome, but looking at the 2016 Brochure I don't see it listed as a feature.

I would think it would be prudent to assume the answer is no if it's not in the brochure.

I doubt it. If you contact the factory through the website with your serial number they will be able to tell you if it has or not.

My guess would be - No.

Sprinter 3500 chassis don't have TPMS.

Sorry, gravy on your mashed potatoes is extra.

You're lucky Aluminum wheels have metal inner dual valve stem extensions. Winnebago coaches with steel wheels have "expensive" plastic extensions. How do I know!!! It leaked 500 miles from home with total air loss and cost us an overnight set back. We're talking Winnebago here, welcome to their "quality" world.

Sorry...... this is a commingled thread. Merdian 40' and what looks lke a Sprinter based unit If it's a 3500 Sprinter chassis, I've never heard tell or seen one with an OEM TPMS.

Meridians could be powered by the famous Shubinnenbordmotor chassis powered by the MTU/Rolls Royce diesels and the Styer-Puch-ZF (Zeppliin GMBH) power train. Rarely seen in the US due to low demand.

OR...it could just be a Freightliner Maxum Chassis powered by a Cummins - Allison like all the other 2016 Meridians from Winnebago

You might want to check with your selling dealer. I don't believe the factory has installed valve stem extensions on any motorhomes prior to the 2017 model year.

In past years any valve stem extensions were installed by the dealer. Our 2001 Adventurer had dealer installed valve stem extensions. We opted against them on our 2013 Adventurer. It's a little tougher to check the tire pressure and install the TPMS sensors, but there's no chance one will leak and leave us high and dry.

Mine has these - an extension with a rubber bushing in the aluminum wheel. I'm pretty sure its a Freightliner install.
