I have an '07 Journey with full body paint. I have touch-up paint in the little bottles provided by Winnebago, but the contents is a bit thick and needs some thinner to allow decent usage. Does anyone know what type of paint the factory used and the thinner needed? This also goes for the clearcoat.
Should be on the bottle but most touch up paint is lacquer , don't know about the clear coat but I have used lacquer thinner on touch up bottles with good results.

I would call CDI in Forest City. They know what paint and reducer they used on your coach. They are very helpful and most likely would send new touch up paint to you.

Being the impatient type I used the lacquer thinner and it worked fine. Thanks for the replies. The bottles of touch-up did not have labels so no way to tell what type of paint it was.
Not sure if they still use it, but on our 04 Vectra they used Sherman Williams automotive paint. Don't ask how I know, but we had to buy more than touch up paint.
