Suncruiser slide may be haunted

Our 2005 Suncruiser has three slides and the one for the bed seems to be haunted. We put it fully out and on occasion, it comes in about 5 inches. The only switch is up high so cannot be accidentally pushed. What should I look for to exercise this ghost?

Thanks

I had a similar problem with a front slide. It has a HWH system and I had to replace a solenoid valve. I assume you have a HWH system also. If not disregard my answer. Good luck;

Don

Yep, leaking solenoid. I believe in your case it would be the extend solenoid for that slide.

Thanks... now I just need to locate it Never looked for any of these before. I believe it is just behind the driver side door and is hidden by the long slide when extended. Any idea of cost of the solenoid and the difficulty to replace? I can do most work myself.

According to my records, in 2008 I paid a dealer to replace a "valve press solenoid (small), (131306-12-702). Part was $151.15, labor $133.00.

Hmmm , before I would pay that, I would remove the solenoid, clean it and try again..
Also check all the connections, you may have a small leak that is letting in air..
