Took delivery of our new Winnie Sightseer 36HD Hybrid Motorhome today. We are really looking forward to "going green" but are still a little concerned about the extra 750 pounds of weight for all the batteries.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to keep clean the 125 square feet of solar panels on the roof? I understand that dirt and bird "stuff" can reduce the charging capacity.

I think it will be really neat to be able to sneak into campgrounds late at night under electric power and not make the disturbance usually associated with a diesel.

I'm glad we bought it now as well, because prices are scheduled to go up considerably after April 1.
