OBD II Location, 98 Winnebago Adventurer
I have looked high and low for the OBD connector on my 98 Winnebago Adventurer Model # WGO G35WP and actually found some things I forgot I had, but no sign of the connector. Help!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Gary

On my '98 Vectra, the connector was under the dash just to the right of the steering column. I had to move some wire harnesses around to find it.

Do you have a 460 or the V10. I don't think the 460 has OBD II.

Ford V10
If the Ford 460 does not have it, maybe the V10 doesn't either.

Hi Ho Gary: You didn't say if you found your OBDII connector. As was said it is located just to the right of the steering column and has a cover over it (at least on my coach). You didn't say why you want to connect, but I got a Scan Guage recently that is the best thing since buttered toast. I have used regular OBDII readers before and haven't been impressed. People on this forum suggested the Guage and I was sceptacle until giving it the once-over. It allows simultaneous monitoring of four different things that are of real interest to me. These include coolent temperature, transmission fluid temp, gas mileage, horse power developed, etc. etc. It also has the normal OBDII functions.

Found the OBD II Connector
Thanks for all the help. The connector is located on the right side of the steering column, buried behind some other wiring harnesses, still can't see it but I can feel it.
The reason I need the connector is so I can see if there are any suspicious codes in the computer that might help me correct the problem of the vehicle blowing black smoke out the tailpipe and will not idle. Starts to run better at high RPM. I have checked all the normal things, or what I would call normal, and can't seem to pinpoint the problem. I would drive it in for repair if it were driveable and mobile mechanics are pretty pricey. Gettin cheap in my old age.

What scan gauge did you get? I’d definitely like to be able to temps, etc.
