Lug Nut Covers

I have aluminum wheels that have a hubcap with eight fake lug nuts, at least I think it’s a hubcap! One of the imitation lug nuts came off and I can’t get it back on. Is it in fact a hubcap that comes off...if so maybe I can get the the piece back where it belongs. Total newbie, first RV, figuring things out.

Did what the guy recommended but still can’t get it back on! Need to get the whole hubcap off but don’t see any access notches to pry it off. Hate to just jam a screwdriver in and probably damage the cover. Any ideas?

Long drive
You may need to notch the inner portion more.
I would try as much as 25%.

If I remember correctly, two of the lug nuts are different if you look closely they are real wheel lug nuts. After removing them the hub cap should come off easily.

I will Dremel it some more for sure. I found a reference regarding the two real fake lugs that hold the hubcap on...thanks for bringing that to my attention! Appreciate your help, jbmsr.
