Lube for slide?

I saw the same recommendation and tried CRC power lube on the gears only. One of them had been squeaking and it stopped immediately. I looked at a U tube video for applying it, but I don't know how to find it right now. Basically I just pressed the straw under the seal where the gear contacts the track and squirted.
