I luv my '05 36' Journey but I sure do miss not having docking lights like we had on the Luxor. I see spot for the switch on the dash but do not see a location for it on the side of the coach. Anyone had experience installing or can tell me where the side location is? I'm sure the wiring is probably in the harness somewhere.

My 06' Meridian has them in the corners of the rear bumper area. They are round "bullet" shaped indentations about 4 to 6 inches from the bottom of the rear cap.

Im sure that the wires are already in the wiring harness. You probably just need the dash switch and the lights.

Sarge,
Thank you, I'll look for them there.

Ours also has them in the same place as SargeW. If you have the two small indentations on each corner of your coach at the bottom it should be a pretty easy installation. They work very well.
Good luck.

Mike,
I checked out the wire diagram on the linked site. It shows the docking lights as an Itasca only option. I don't know if the wire harness will be there. Let us know if it is, I would also like to ad docking lights on my winne.

It's probably a standard harness that you add whatever options to at either end. While crawling around under the front of mine I found connectors on each side labeled Fog Lights. Never seen em' but the harness has it.

No such luck with the Journey. The rear facia does not have the locations for the docking lites. I may have to mount something on the surface rather than have it flush mounted.

I installed docking lights on my 05 Journey (39F) it just takes a switch, which you can get (order) from Winnebago - get one like the dash generator switch with the light in it. The wiring for it is located behind the dash. The cable for the dock lights is tied up beside the radiator. There is a fuse/circuit braker already in the front electrical panel. Not hard to do as most of what I needed is already there

Since the Journey does not have the docking lights location in the rear fascia (like the Itasca does), how and where did you mount the docking lights?
