Yesterday I received the latest edition of Traveling Times announcing the latest Winnebago/Itasca "Product News" There was no mention of a "Journey" motohome. There was a full page on the Meridian. In addition there was a new Model called Ellipse that seems to fit somewhere between the Meridian/Journey and the Horizion. There was also no mention of the Vectra.

All pushers except the 32 footers were CAT C-7 powered. The 32s were Cummins.
Any "inside" info out there?

Good question Barney, the web site still lists the Journey as a 2006 model.

You must have received the 'Itasca' version. My 'Winnebago' version I received today lists the whole Winnebago line (but not any of the Itasca siblings), including the diesel Journey, Tour, and Vectra.

Okay, that would explain it. So what is the name of the "new" Winnebago that seems to fit between the existing Journey and Vectra and what do you think of it. There must be some price point that W is trying to reach.

The 'Tour' is the Winnebago equivalent of the Itasca 'Ellipse' and fits in between the Journey and the Vectra. It on the Evolution chassis, but with a solid front axle rather than IFS.
