My slide would creep but a pair of slide locks has cleared that issue. I have some rub marks on the underside but have been told by Forest City that it is "normal" wear. I have never had any issues with the slide going in or out.

Unhappy

We had a one-time occurrence of the full-slide on our 2013 35P moving out about 5 inches. We were driving into a strong wing coming from our front-left. Haven't used slide locks yet, but check that slide frequently while on the road

The full wall slide on our 2013 came out of adjustment the first year we had it. The lower front corner was about an inch farther out than the other corners when the slide was retracted.

It happened when we were on our way to Alaska. We went through the three month trip with no problems, and had it adjusted at the factory when we returned. We have a little over 20,000 miles on it now with everything working fine.

Hiker dogs,

Good to know. Did you use any type of slide-out lock? Is Manuel retraction of the slide out possible? Don't see access to the gearbox shaft.

We don't have or use any kind of aftermarket slide locks. The motors have built in brakes that hold the slide in place.

The slides can manually be retracted. The procedure is to disconnect the coupler on each motor. Then the slide can be pushed in. We haven't had to do it. To disconnect the couplers you have to pull back the seal near the top of the slide on each end. Then reach in with a screw driver or similar tool to do the disconnect. The motors are near the top of the slide so it takes a ladder to get to the height to see and disconnect them.

There would also be a problem once the slide is pushed in. Since the motors that hold them in place would be disconnected it would have to somehow be blocked in place to keep it from extending while traveling.

Appreciate that feedback. Hard to imagine pushing in the full side slide. Seems like a slide-out lock bar would be needed to hold the slide in if that type of manual retraction was needed. Thanks again..
