Intent 30R Storage door leaking

We just purchased a new Intent 30R and drove thru a rainstorm. One of the storage compartments had about 1" of water inside. When we took delivery of the MH, there was a similar amount that we discovered the next day (likely from the dealer washing it).
The door seals look fine and the door appears to close evenly. Ideas on how to repair? I do NOT want to take it back to the dealer for this or any repairs!
Thanks, Chandler

I would suggest putting a light inside the compartment at night and look for the light leakage... Start sealing with silicone from there...

We have rotomolded plastic compartments in the INTENT models, which are pretty good at keeping water out. Check for a gap around the top and the vertical surface that seals to the outer wall panel.

We had a similar problem and I have read that others have as well. Seems the back tires bring the water in via the tire well. Look for gaps inside the forward facing rear wheal wells. The dealer sealed ours at this location with black silicon seal and this solved the issue. The compartment can be far forward of the back wheal well and still experience this issue.

I had a similar problem in a 2008 Sightseer 29R. Using the light at night to find light leakage will help. Using a wire brush if possible, clean all areas where the body panels (e.g. wheel wells, bottom of undercarriage) meet the storage area. Then apply and force silicone into any area where there appears to be a seam. Allow to dry thoroughly. Then spray all joining areas and seams with plastic based undersealant. Repeat the undersealant. Worked perfectly for me.
