Does anyone have experience with Hucks diesel fuel? There is one right down the road from the RV park we are staying at and, my old standby Pilot, has the worst layout for RV diesel I have ever seen. I would like to use Hucks but am skeptical of off brand diesel. Comments?
The vast majority of fuels come from one regional supplier...those places with the big giant white tanks. There's only a few refineries around the entire country where those suppliers get their fuel. Just the brand name of the station changes, the fuel for all those different stations is almost always from the same distributor...even near big towns.
You can also just go ask at the RV park office...if they've heard any complaints about the fuel.

There may be some addatives added to certain "brand" fuels, but as above, all come from the same source. You want a fuel which is filtered, and is fresh--high turnover. I never fuel up when we see the tanks being filled from a tanker truck. The tank may be at its lowest level--we once got those dregs from the tank--bad news.
