How do you pull a CB button?

My keyless entry door system is not working.

It's either pay the price to replace it or disable it.

I'm pretty sure I can live the old fashioned way, ie put the key in the key hole and turn, so disabling might be the way to go.

Is there a way I can pull the circuit breaker?

Back in the older days you could grab the CB button and pull it out but I don't see a way to do that with these new ones.

Thanks.....

why do you have to disconnect it. I have the power locks but The locks work just fine manually. When my disconnect is off I have to operate the locks with a key and it works just like they do without power locks.

Ah yes, Heater, good catch.

I guess I forgot mention the reason behind the CB pulling; I've never had the correct numbers to unlock the door using the keyless system. If I lose the key for that lock or, if the keyhole for that lock were to be damaged I'd have no way of unlocking it.

Unfortunately I don't the answer to you question about the breakers but very much want to know the answer. So often I want to remove power from one particular circuit without turning the entire coach off for some repair. Does anyone have an answer to this for Stu and Sue and myself. Thanks

The best way is to get to the back of the CB's and remove the wire that goes to the door locks. Do not remove the power wire as it is hot all the time and could short. Then replace the CB panel.

And how does disabling the elect. door lock help?

X2 on removing the wire. Or pull the relay.

Good question.

One night we went out for a walk, leaving the keys inside the motorhome.

When we got back the Keyless lock had somehow been activated.

We don't have the number code so I had to call the local locksmith, who had the door open in minutes. No big deal, just a red face.

I'm hoping to pull the power to the keyless system as a way of preventing a similar incident.

If your keyless entry is functional, you should be able to re-program it yourself. See this thread for instructions: How to reprogram my Keyless Entry
