Covered storage question

I have covered storage for my Forza diesel pusher. It is protected on 3 sides (7/8 wall open at the bottom on 1 side and other RV's on the 2 others) but open on the 4th. Should I back in to protect the engine from the cold or does it matter? Expecting temps in the high 20's for a few days.

It does not matter. This being said you have to make sure the engine antifreeze is still ok. I would also make sure you have put non gel additive into your fuel and run the engine awhile to get the additive into the engine.

Thanks! What kind of fuel additive?

Thanks for the reply. What kind of fuel additive are you thinking I should use, having never added anything like that to my fuel tank before?

Diesel fuel, which is an oil, can turn to gel in really cold weather. There are many fuel additives you can run that will lower the temp at where the fuel gels in the cold.
