If you place a 2nd sat receiver in your bedroom, you can use the existing coax to run from the sat dish/sat splitter to the bedroom receiver.

I only have the one receiver that I use in the house and RV. Cheaper to run new HDMI, if I can find out how to do it

If you go to the Wiring Diagrams page on Winnebago's website you can select your year and model and get the specific wiring diagrams for your coach. One of them should be a TV/VCR Wiring Installation diagram which may prove helpful.

Btw, it would be helpful to put the year and model of your coach in your signature to help out folks that are trying to help you out.

I'm not sure they make a HDMI that long. We just purchased a second receiver and that makes it even better.

The wiring diagrams do not show the rear TV setup.

On my 03 33V the coax split to the outside entertainment center was behind the one place panel.

If length is not a problem I would run under coach to electrical bay, up wardrobe to tv, if yours is a 33v.

The TV/VCR Wiring Installation diagram for your coach indicates that the coax TO TV 2 (which is actually the bedroom and outside TV if it exists) is routed through the roof. Page 3 and detail DE on page 5 of the Body, 12 Volt Wiring Installation diagram for your coach shows some additional information on the junction behind the OnePlace panel as stated by a previous poster.

jemima you can get HDMI cables up to 50ft. Like was mentioned run cable under the motorhome. One note do not connect HDMI cables together to make a longer one. They are specially build for the length and keep a good radius in the bends.

There 65 foot hdmi cables on amazon. Just don't buy the cheapest. That's what got for my 2007 sightseer 35j. Works just fine, even had to extend it 3 feet. Pain to install but well worth.

Just IMHO run a quad shield cat6 at the same time. Makes it easier to add a Ir repeater.

Good luck and safe travels

Bill

Jemima,
You should not remove the coaxial cables and replace with HDMI cable if you wish to receive OTA (over the air) signals. You need only to add HDMI cables.

Thanks for the info. I've completely rewired the "entertainment center", and the last step is using the outside cable as an input for my Dish tailgater (I've removed the basement TV). I wasn't sure how it was set up. Now I'll look for a splitter. Anyone else try this?

In my 07 sightseer I found my splitter in the bottom (floor) of the cabinet my rear tv was mounted in.

Good hunting
