Broken arm rest

Hi, we have a 2018 Intent and the arm rest on the right side of the drivers seat just hangs limp. Left side is OK. I can't figure out how to remove the arm rest and maybe fix. Any suggestions?

Not sure what kind of seat you have, but on ours (Flexsteel captain's chairs), you push in on the side of the armrest and rotate it back (from the upright position) till it disengages from the seat.

Have you tried to adjust the knob under the arm? Sometimes it takes a bit of fiddling to get it to reengage. I have a zipper on my chair arm.

You can't miss the adjusting knob. It is recessed in the bottom of the arm about where the hand would be placed on top. You may not have one.
Have you opened the zipper and looked for a nut or something that has come loose?
What year is your rig? https://www.lichtsinn.com/product/ne...t-26m-781544-9 has adjustable are rest.

Try rotating the arm up and slightly past (back) the full up position. As your are rotating it pull outwards. When you find the slot, the arm should come off. There should be a keyhole type slot on the backrest frame. I have had this problem with the drivers seat of a bus. The stud on the arm rest was broken and could not support the arm. Maybe replaceable or repairable, depending on the arm type.

There should be a small "nib" on the side of the shaft that goes into the seat. That is what goes into the "keyhole" in the seat to hold the arm in place. If that is broken off then the shaft is not engaging. Check out this guy's video...
