Bedroom TV replacement 2000 Suncruiser 35u

Only took a couple of hours and most of that time was waiting for the stain/poly to dry! Even has storage behind it. Colonial maple minwax stain seems to be the perfect match for that vintage Itasca FYI. The velcro straps behind it make it real secure when motoring. 1/2 in oak plywood made a real secure spot for the mount. Tried to post pics we will see if it worked....

Thanks! It was easier than expected. If you buy a 12v tv you just plug it in. The rest is just light carpentry work.

Why did you choose a 12v unit, was there no power to that area??

Nice job..

12 volt power was the easiest. It was already there but I liked the idea about being able to use it unplugged or without the genny running. I think I may replace the front TV with a 12v one as well if I can find one. Less wasted power than an inverter.

Nice job. We have a 12 volt that came standard with our coach. I like it for all your reasons also. When it comes time to replace I will go with the flat screen also.

I use a small cigarette lighter plug 12 volt inverter to convert to 120 volts for my flat screen bedroom tv. Works just like the original 12 volt tv.
