Something new. Today I turned my Norcold on LP to test it. I left for a couple of hours and when I went back to check it, the refrigerator was off. I checked the battery disconnect switched to on and nothing happened. I then turned the ignition switch on and the battery disconnect switch will work and the fridge came on, so bottom line is, the battery disconnect will only work with the ignition switch on. I've googled and searched the forum without success.
Check to see if your coach batteries are dead. Sounds like your chassis batteries are doing the work.

The EMS display shows a little over 13 volts, but I'll put a meter on it tonight. The batteries are less than a year old, but I've only had the MH out once this year and it is stored under roof.
I assume that you absolutely know that the solenoid for House Battery on/off is working. If the switch and solenoid are working properly then the refridge must have been rewired somewhere along the line. You can bypass everything and connect a battery to refridge line direct and see what happens then. Does the lp gas portion the refridge work ok?
We had a problem a few years ago. After traversing rough roads in LA we started having electronic anomolies. Many $$$ later we found Chipmunks had chewed the lines and by had shorted lines that bypassed some, but not all, functions of the Xantrex charger. It would trickle charge but nothing else. That is why I suggested a direct temporary battery wire.
Yes to all. LP Gas does work properly. If I run the generator and then shut the generator off, the fridge works for some period of time on batteries, but then shuts off. Checked batteries after it shuts off, still at 13.4v. Fridge doesn't shut off when on shore power or generator.
