Have a problem with a bolt that keeps coming loose on bottom bracket that bolts to side of mtr. home. The bolt towards the front on bottom was out about 1/4 of an inch, when I tightened it, it just turns it feels like it is not grabbing hold of anything. Sometimes after driving for a day it is back out 1/4 inch again. Any suggestions?
Also we bought the Mtr. Home New March 14,2007 so it is just out of warrant.

I would think those awnings are installed with enough location precision that they wouldn't miss the metal behind the wall. So, if it's not grabbing, it may have been over-torqued when installed. Try a bolt with a matching head and a slightly larger diameter threads.

If it's not a simple fix like that, it might be worth a call to Winnie customer service even though you are out of warranty.

As mentioned, the installer missed the metal it needs to attach to it stripped the other part of the fastener.

I feel that this should be a warranty issue, take it up with your seller.

This should be a very simple and easy repair. Let the seller/dealer try to fix it first before trying larger bolts/screws or any other halfast repair which then in turn will affect a warranty.

When presenting your case, do not indicate you have tried to fix this yourself, just that you noticed that you noticed that it isn't right.

Good luck with it and let us know how it turns out.
