Anyone know who makes the Journey co-pilot chair?

The copilot seat in the 2014 Journey is killer with a slide out table from the side... and I'm wondering, does anyone know if these is made by flexsteel?

Winnebago makes all their own furniture. Contact Winnebago for more information.

Winnebago doesn't make all its furniture. Most often the pilot and copilot seats are by Flexsteel.

I believe Flexsteel makes it but they have an exclusive with Winnebago. Winnebago will not sell you just the chair. I know someone that tried.

The MFg should be on the frame of the chair. If not, call Winnebago and they will tell you the Mfg., or should. My seats in the Winnebago, 2008 model, are Flexsteel, as is the sofa, and euro-chair.

Winnebago does not sell direct to the customer. You need to go through a local dealers parts counter who should be more than willing to make a sale.

Flexsteel won't sell direct either. They will refer you to Brad & Hall. They can answer your question and probably order the chair as well. RV Furniture, Boat Furniture, Flexsteel, Flexsteel Furniture, Villa, Palliser, Lafer, Lambright, Leather Furniture, Bradd & Hall - Bradd & Hall

I find that statement questionable since they have a parts dept and desk at the factory and I have purchased parts there.

In some previous posts I have read that they will sell to an individual "at the factory". But no internet/phone ordering.

That would be considered a local sale at the factory counter but they will not sell and ship cutting out the local dealer on the other side of the state or country. Really how may folks are going to make a special trip to Indiana from X thousand miles away to cut out the local dealer? The cost of fuel would make it insane unless you had to go there for some other really big ticket service that could not be done locally. I have called them on three seperate occasions asking to just have the part shipped direct and they always answered to tell your local dealer to order the part and we will ship it and collect payment through them. Now will they make an exception if you live hundreds of miles from a Winnebago dealer well thats a different story too however they will more likely refer you to a nearby dealer who does internet sales of parts and supplies.

Since on the subject, DW does nothing but complain about the positing of the passenger seat, mostly that it's so high that her feet are not on the ground. Has anyone added the drivers side powered mechanism to the passenger side? I think that will fix the problem.

My wifes dont touch the floor either.. haha. but mainly, I love the slide up computer desk / tray... that's a killer idea! Using a laptop table pulled to the chair is BS. Why has no one made chairs like this before...

Although I would think it better if you could swing the arms out of the way....

off to design the best co pilot chair on the planet.. bet i could take the market by storm
