Was the inverter left on with outside refridge running? That would drain them

Did you kill the coach battery power just inside the door? That should disable the batteries from everything. If you do then check current draw thru batt Should not be any. A relay may bestuck

When I parked it I did not disable the coach batteries. Could this discharge batteries in just 3 days?

No it should not discharge in three days with the coach batteries connected. Turning them off is a sure fire way to reduce parasitic drain but my coach has sat for many weeks with the switch on and the batteries were fine. You need to keep a close eye on things and determine for sure if you have an issue and if so get it into the dealer while you have warranty coverage and get it resolved.

Sorry to hear about everyone’s issues. Stay strong document and fight your battles. I did get results 3 times talking to Winnebago service manager. I was disappointed with the initial Winnebago quality but overall it is a well built coach. If you haven’t done it yet put a bead of caulk under your dinette sides as any water spill or leakage and those sides will suck up water like a sponge and your sponge wood panels will swell up. New panels are $110 each plus shipping
Also check the tightness of the fitting st the back of the water pump just to make sure it doesn’t leak. Best of luck to everyone
Nice job on the drawers. What stain did you use it looks really close to the original. What is that thing you have above the bedroom tv? Have you done any other modifications. Not sure where you are to put the caulk?? Thanks

We now just develop a crack in the windshield coming from the top right down the middle about 12" long and now the fan above the bed stopped working. Have you thought about adding a fan in the kitchen I see they have done so on the 2019 ones.
Drawers took a little time but well worth it I posted some pictures. Let me know if you need more. I made a set for our friends who bought the same coach. I did put a fantastic fan in the kitchen and I also modified a small Vornado fan and mounted it over the closet to blow across the bed. It is like having a ceiling fan and works great!
Also for us short queen bed folks, we pull the mattress out and put the two pillows/ cushions that come with the coach with the dinette material between the back wall and mattress, basically making the short queen a normal queen. Works great as well
Heading to Alaska next year!
Enjoy

That box is my Small modified Vornado squirrel cage fan that acts like a ceiling fan Four speeds and blows air across our bed
Helps with the cooling. Also reflective bubble wrap in All of the windows greatly aids the AC unit in cooling the coach on those hot summer days. Store on bunk bed or under couch. Makes it really dark too with the fan holes blocked off with foam
Stain color was minwax gun stock first coat then early American over that. I cut out the drawer face for the hinges and relocated one door catch. The top drawer I made tall so we could put trays up there

Sorry to bother you again but do you remember where you bought the fan from and the model #. I did look up the name but did not see the same one. I would get bonus points with the wife if I can find one.

Bedroom fan

Vornado Duo
Got it from Lowes
Took it apart, fabricated the arms and added and epoxied bolts with hand nuts to adjust angle. Front face is a 4 inch metal from a commercial gutter. Backside has a 1 1/2 x 3/4 wood. The fan just sits there. Gets tight when slide is open. Don’t plug into TV outlet(inverter) Plug only into lower outlet
Took a little trial and error but worked out well

Westy67’s woodworking skills are top notch. He has had a lot of practice and builds beautiful things. When we end up getting a Vista we will make some of the mods he has done.

Bought a new 2019 Vista29VE I got the 50Amp upgrade. Installed front and read sway bars and front control spring. Had a few minor initial issues only major one was radio didn't work. Also installed WeBoost cell signal enhancer and Tireminder tire sensors.

Just finished a November 2018 6600 mile trip DC to Oregon (I80) and back (I40.) Truck battery failed in Phoenix. Was able to use the house battery boost to get RV started. Great feature that.

Generally got 8 mpg except across Nebraska where I white knuckled a 30+ headwind and got 5.5 mpg.

I was interested in how my Vista would do for winter camping and here is my report:
I thought I would see just how well my 2019 Winnebago Vista 29VE would do in the cold weather.
I had 5 thermometers placed as shown in the table. I put insulation around the outside sink and in the wet compartment.
I supplemented the propane heater with a small 1500 watt electric heater. Since this heater blew heater air on the propane thermostat it tended to heat that thermostat to the point the propane heater would not come on so I only used it before bed and in the morning to heat up the RV. I kept the propane heater thermostat at 67.
I had to run the propane heater while driving otherwise the temperate in the wet compartment fell rapidly.
I found I was using between 2.5 and 3 pounds of propane per day. The tank has a 20 pound capacity which means you can have 16 pounds (80 %.) This gives about a 5 day supply. To make sure I would not run out, I always resupplied when got below 2/3rds. This usually meant I had to add between 5 and 8 pounds of LP.

While doing this test I carried RV anti-freeze and a small compressor just in case I needed to winterize.

5 Thermostats
1. Inside Thermostat temp
2. Outside temperature
3. Temp next to Pump under the bed
4. Temp under outside PS sink
5. Temp inside DS wet compartment

Conclusions: As long as you have LP and the heater is running to heat the inside to above 60 degrees the underside will be warm enough.
You have to be careful using an electric heater as it can cause the LP heater to not operate.

Our 2018 Vista 29VE is in the TransWest dealer now getting the steps fixed, the door roller shade screwed back on and Sumo Springs added. We have put about 3K miles on it and are happy with it.
Would like the CHF and steering stabilizers too.

fan

Has anyone installed a fan in the vent, in the kitchen area??? It really can use something when you are cooking in it.

MaxxAir makes some good fan vents. I put three of them with remote controls in my rig. I think Dometic also makes at least one model.

Was there wiring all ready there? If not where did you get power from for the kitchen area fan?

Actually I used the third fan vent to replace the inefficient bath vent. But to answer your question, on the front vent I used an aluminum rod to punch a wire passage through the styrofoam layer in the roof about two feet to the nearest ceiling light fixture. Couldn't use that method for the bedroom vent because a roof cross member was in the way, and instead I used a two foot piece of Wiremold plastic conduit from Home Depot to surface-mount the connection to the nearest light fixture. Do some serious homework before cutting a hole in the roof over the galley. There may be wiring running through the roof there. Winnebago's wiring diagrams would definitely be helpful.
