LaMesa called to update delivery, which is pushed out again. The 24,000 pound chassis will be delivered this month and the factory is scheduled to start the build on 2/1. Getting a build date is progress! Still can't wait to get it.

In another note, I spent a lot of time looking at a 35P at an RV Show nearby. I noticed that even though it is a 2017, it had a LOT or rust and corrosion around the bolts and connections on the hydraulic jack pump. I was wondering if it gets wet from the wheel well it sits just in back of. Anyone else have that problem, and any ideas to avoid this?

I noticed that when we got home from Phoenix. They had put so much crap on the tires, that it flung everywhere and all over the jack pump. Not sure what the answer is. I noticed the one at Vacaville CW had quit a bit of rust as well. I bet it was driven during the winter, early spring, on salted roads for delivery.

I wonder if there is a way to protect that area or put something directly on the pump connectors to keep them from rusting, like Boe-Shield.

macnut, I use Fluid Film (Red Spray Can in the tool section at Lowes) on bolts that are not painted. I sprayed in on the electrical connections on the jack pump. Works great.

We are scheduled to pick up our new Adventurer 35P this Saturday (4/8). It has been on the road from the factory to LaMesa RV in Davis, CA since last Wednesday. Can't wait!!

Congrats! So, is there gonna be a party at La Mesa? Gonna be a long day checking everything out!

First thing, make sure the underside gets a thorough wash. I bet it has seen salty roads!

Adventurer 35P owners - likes and dislikes?

Great advice. I'll tell them I need the underside washed. The party will be when I get it home! :-) Our first trip in it is scheduled the next weekend at Half Moon Bay. :-))
