Maybe not. I only have 100+ cycles on my Power Gear System that started to malfunction after only six months use. If I understood the service writer correctly, the plastic housing for the slide motor broke causing the unit to malfunction. I know there are others with power gear issues. I will see when I get it back from the dealer. Another 6-8 week ordeal without the Coach.

747Driver,
"I noticed in the 2017 brochure, it shows the slide drive on the bottom of the 37F passenger front slide. Is that the case for the 2017 35P?"
The passenger side front slide on the 37F is a drop down slide to allow the slide floor to be lever with the coach floor when extended. This requires the drive unit to be on the bottom. Not used on the 35F.

GRTHarris, thx, now makes sense.

Another question? I have looked at many 35P's, both Itasca and Winne. Seems to be hit or miss on a couple items. About half of them have valve stem extensions and rubber insert on the inner tire on the duals and about a third of the RVs don't have the smoke colored glass cover on the power center. Some comparisons were on RV's sitting next to each other and were different?

Mine had neither. There is a cut for the latch of the glass door, and no screw holes, so it has never been installed. I really don't need it, may be easier without it. We dry camp a lot and access the power center a lot. One less thing to be improperly latched and bang around when on the road. I did purchase and install extensions. Almost impossible to access the inner valve stem without it.

Adventurer 35P owners - likes and dislikes?

747Driver, the extensions are not standard and are on the options list, so some coaches are ordered with them and some without. In my opinion they should be standard. The door over the One Place area is relatively new. My guess is that you saw some that were phased in and some not. For some reason, Winnebago introduces changes throughout the model year. Hope that helps!

Another change you see both ways is a carpeted or molded dog house. The molded doghouse is new and I like the clean appearance...hope it come with mine.

I believe the valve stem extentions are an option, so if they didnt get ordered with the coach you would have to pick them up elsewhere. We have the glass door on monitor panel and I really wish we didnt. I am scared to death that It will not get it shut properly and get snapped off. I am very careful with that little glass door. Have a great day everyone!

I would agree with you on 2017 models, but valve stems have not been offered prior to 2017. I have not seen any 2017 yet, so the different configurations have been on 2016.

Again, might be something introduced mid year.

Hopefully the "plastic" doghouse looks better than the ones I've seen on other RV's. The ones I've seen appear to be cheap in appearance. I know that is hard to quantify, just the feel I got seeing them.

Adventurer 35P owners - likes and dislikes?

Hey, I finished up with LaMesa. I dealt with their internet sales manager at first, Shawn, and he was great to work with. He went on travel and I was passed on to Les, and he was also great to work with. Everything was by phone and email. I got the options sheet, and filled it out, then I got a good price. That would have been that, but I decided to add a trade in for my existing RV to avoid the hassle of selling. This took longer. Since I got a great price on the RV, they wanted to give me less for the trade in, but we ended up settling on NADA trade in value, plus extra for mileage, condition, and extras I added such as MCD duo shades and a 4-stage charger. In the end, I got a good price on the RV, a little more than 26% off list, and a good price for my trade in. I probably could have done a little better with a lot of effort, but I am a very happy camper. :-)

Congrats, now the LOOOOOONG wait begins! Anytime you're driving by Vacaville, you're welcome to stop by and visit a 35P. LOL

I am very lucky, being only 15 minutes from Davis. So far, service has been good, slow, but good. I'm on my way to Shanghai, but later I'll PM my service guy, the best I am told.

Thanks 747Driver, I may have to take you up on that! :-) in the meantime, I'll have to be content with YouTube ads for the 35P. Glad to hear the service in Davis is good. They were great for the short time they were in Dublin.

The Vacaville Camping World has a SunCruiser 35P, if you want to snoop around. We visited a few times while waiting to go to Phoenix.

We actually visited there last weekend on our way back from visiting Apple Hill for the weekend! It helped us decide for sure on the 35P, but we wanted a different color and a 2017.

LaMesa called today and said ETA is mid-Feb! Apparently, Winnebago is making a lot of Gas Class A's and are out of chassis. On the plus side, it will be made on a 2017 chassis! Anticipation....
