31ft 1997 Brave question

Looking at a 1997 31ft Winnebago Brave. Question,, this coach has two factory ac's on top but owner says you can only run one at a time? The coach is wired for 30amps and has a 4000 watt generator.. it's a nice older coach and would suit our needs perfectly but I'm puzzled about the ac setup..
Thanks!

Mike, I had a 29 brave, same yr. The windshield leaked very slowly probably from the time it came out of the factory. The frame above the drivers windshield was rusted almost all the way thru. If they will let you take the inside plastic piece off the top of the windshield, do it to inspect the windshield frame. Others on other websites have reported having the same problem. I am not trying to bust your bubble, just letting you know my problem.

Okcmike54, some where you have an Air Conditioner Selector Switch. What does the label on the front of the switch said?

If it has the Intellitec Energy Management System, you can run two at one time. The EMS shuts off other energy users as needed. you can also run another 15/20 amp connection directly to one AC and plug it into the 15/20 amp receptacle on the power pedestal.

Okcmike54, after much digging and some help from a gentleman at Kraus and Naimer I was able to get a drawing of the Air Conditioner Selector Switch. The way it works on your coach is in the front position the front A/C will run off shore power and the rear A/C will run off the generator. In the rear position the rear A/C will run off of shore power and the front will not run.

motohomo, thanks, just got hooked on that one had to find out how that switch worked. The Winnebago drawings just did not show enough information to understand the switching. Found the switch on line but not a drawing so I send a email to Kraus and Naimer the oem of the switch with the part number shown on line and 30 minutes later I had the drawing.
