303 Aerospace Protectant

So I just treated my fiberglass roof for the first time with 303 but have a question for all of you that use this product. How often do you apply it?

I apply it 3 - 4 times a year on the roof and all shrouds, more on the tires ...

Several times each year after I wash the rig I use 303 on the front and rear caps... spray on, spread with one micro-fiber cloth and finish with another micro-fiber cloth. I do all the rubber seals on windows as well (spray onto cloth and then wipe).

FishBear I use 303 on my 3M shield on the front end but have been hesitant to use it directly on full-painted fiberglas. Instead, I use Mequiairs 21 sealant. Please share more on what you're seeing when used on your caps. Thanks ...

Started using Protect All with previous MH (8 years ago) but it was kind of a pain... one of those wipe on, wait till dries and then buff. Tried 303 once and liked it... so just continued on with our new one... works great, seems to help with washing bugs off after a trip and seems to provide that UV protection.

I apply 303 once a year on my 2016 Vista which I purchased in 2015 and it still looks like new. I also use it on all the rubber seals, which I consider very important. I have been using it on fiberglass campers and boats for about 20 years with great results. If the surface began looking dull between applications, I would use it more frequently.

Lotsa times when I hear 'Aerospace', or the like, associated with plastic trim on a Jeep I assume there's a wish to connect the product to a high purpose or standard. Often times there is some ingredient that is beneficial but perhaps not deserving such lofty status.

I always like to look at the MSDS. Sadly, the Gvmt. allows people to shield their ingredients ...but they still have to list them. Here's the top one for 303:

Water — CAS:7732-18- 5 — 75% TO 100%

The next highest is a 'Proprietary' 0% TO 15%. Along with a few lesser % additives. (one was <1% ..another <.235%)

Of course, it's easy enough for their competitors to send it out for analysis - they know what's in there ...and likely, stock the shelves with a similar mix.

I would have wished the PO of my rig was as motivated to have wanted to use some of these things and the real magic: Concern w/elbow grease. It would have saved me a lot of work.

Jescar Power Lock is a very good product for the exterior of the vehicle. Better than most other sealants.
