2015 Winnebago Tour 42HD

Anyone see the 42HD yet? Very nice looking motorhome that was on display at the FMCA Rally at Redmond, Oregon.

I haven't seen it yet but would like to. I did see a video of the 2015 Grand Tour and it was amazing!

True, but $50,000 more for a Tour with lipstick? I don't like dark colors and would not buy one, though it looks good in the showroom. Later on there will be improvements like HWH and the outside tv will be 55". I do like the light switches and wiring.

My Meridian 42E looks better as time goes on. Does that make sense?

I know what you mean. So far I would rather update my Vectra.

The price has gone up dramatically. Not that much to justify the increase from my 2012 Tour. Two features I like. The second awning and the LED lights in the awning slot. I wonder if these features could be retrofitted?

I don't like that they removed the ladder.

Which ladder did they remove? Portable or fixed?

I read somewhere they removed the outside fixed ladder. Photos of the coach do not show one. Winnebago says this provide a cleaner look. Probably the lawyers had a say in this.

I don't know about the portable ladder. I find that to useful.

I find my outside ladder to be handy. If anything I can go up and even if I don't go on the roof I can give things a quick look to see if everything looks to be in order and the slides are clear of debris. The portable ladder is not tall enough to do this.

Nova,
Friends tried to add a second awning on their 2012 QD at the Factory last month (GNR) BIG $$$'s due to having to reinforce the wall (strip interior, add framework, rebuild..). Sorry.
LEDS are an easy mod though. Factory did that for a couple hundred or so.

We added an awning on the passenger side window on our 2013 QD. We ordered the awning from Carefree and had it installed by our rv guru here in Virginia Beach. Love it since we don't always bring out the patio awning if its windy. Also had the LED lights installed under the patio awning and they have a remote to control the colors and off/on. The awning did not require any reinforcement.

We saw one in Hershey, wife loved it. Best/biggest windows I have ever seen. My deal killer- one storage bay for a 42' coach. Am I the only one that opened the bay doors to look? Besides that, it was a gorgeous coach.
