2014 Winnebago Adventurer 35P

Does anyone here own a 2014 Winnebago Adventurer 35P? We just purchased one and have 1900 miles on it and was wondering if you have any problems or likes and dislikes about the coach. Would like to know if you made any modifications or additions.

I made some electrical additions in the compartments by installing AC receptacles in the 2 water compartments so that I could install 60 w bulbs with adapters to keep the cold out. I also installed 2 receptacles in the shore power compartment to monitor each leg of the 50 amp power. After installing the receptacles I purchased 2 plug in meters to plug into them and they work great. I also made a light for the fridge compartment to protect ice maker plumbing during cold weather. I purchased a round box, a plastic like fixture and used a piece of AC zip cord from an extension cord cutting off the female end. I then put an AC tri-cube in the refrigerator receptacle and plugged both items, the fridge and the light into it being careful that the light doesn't get close to anything that could get hot an melt. When weather warmed up I disconnected light from receptacle but left it in the compartment.

I also installed my old Rock Solid on the rear of the coach bur it took a little engineering changes as rear bumper is not straight all the way across but it works great.

Those above items work great and I have a few more additions I may make at a later date. Please let me know your thoughts on this good looking motorhome from Winnebago Industries.

I would suggest investing in an EMS like Progressive Ind. , not only protects against surges but high and low voltage and mis wired pedestals.

also I wood be afraid of the light bulbs I used heat tape and run it off of the power inverter so if power is lost it will heat or when driving in the cold heat tape will work. The heat tape has thermostats in them and will turn on or off when needed. purchased heat tape at Lowes. Love our Winnie

We pickup up Adventurer 35P in early November and have 3900 miles on it now. Just love it still amazed at the amount of room when the slides are out.

Have added the following:
Trik-L-Start to keep the chassis battery charged.
Converter Status Remote Pendant
Towel rack on bath room door like our Journey had.
Put the FM antenna on the DVD player and cleaned up the wiring behind the TV.
Replaced the drawer face on the top drawer in the kitchen.

So far we have a short list of things for the dealer to take care of.
AC in the water compartments is on my list to get done also.

You may want to check that Trik-L-Start. You do not need it. The BIM handles the charging, According to the info on my 35F they now have a system in place that will charge the Chassis batteries from the Alternator and vise versa. Which ever has juice will TRIK-L charge the other so no more dead Coach battery when camping.

SuperGewl, When we were doing our PDI on our new coach it was connected to shore power. I noticed the chassis battery voltage was reading low at the One Place Display. I asked the tech about the BIM keeping the chassis battery charged he did not think it would. So just to be safe I when ahead and added the Trik-L-Start which I know will keep the chassis battery charged when connected to shore power.
Reading the info about the BIM it is suppose to connect the coach battery to the chassis battery when the coach battery is begin charged and the chassis battery drops to a 80% charge.

Hi Where in the owners manual did you read about the BIM charging both batteries as I have not found it.

I have no problems with my trickle charger as both batteries are at 13.6 v at the power center.

It is a known fact that when the engine is running the alternator will charge both batteries.

Thanks for the info.

I installed a nice little electric fireplace under the 42 inch mid ship tv......the fireplace is functional and attractive.
By removing the right side vertical cabinet door, you have a opening of 9 1/2 x 24 highs minimum depth of 9 3/4 trapezoid shelf. After installation, I reinstalled the original trapezoid shelf allowing me 5 inch in height usable shelf space. As you know, the left side cabinet is not usable due to the breaker panel......
