Are they dead on generator and shore power?

Found this:
You mentioned you have checked the circuit breakers on your invertor, but I lost power on most of my plug in sockets about a week ago and it turned out go be I simply overloaded the invertor circuit. It took me an hour to find the problem after doing all the normal checks but it was this circuit breaker on the side of the invertor.

daveteal, the rear bath gfi, lounge and table rcp's are fed from the same breaker and do not come from the inverter. The washer rcp is fed from a single breaker and goes through the EMS module also not from the inverter.

Glad you got it going. I had a similar problem on our (new to us) 06 Horizon. We were popping an inverter breaker and half to outlets and refer would go dead. It turns out we were on 50amp shore power but running with the inverter on. I guess that's a newbie mistake.

Merry Christmas!

Impossible to run off the inverter if you have valid shore or generator power, unless something is broke, or you tried to draw more than 30 amps thru the inverter. Do you still have the Demented (Dimensions) MSW Inverter? If you have true external power, the inverter should pass this power thru its transfer switch to all 120 VAC outlets including the refer, but not the W/D.

Our inverter is the Xantrex Freedom 458 and the remote control panel will allow you to turn the inverter on while connected to shore power. Pressing the Inverter button will cause the green LED next to the Inverter button to light up indicating the Inverter is active. I'm not sure if that is the way its supposed to to work but that is how it works. The previous owner had that inverter installed.

If you are on 30 Amp
but need more the inverter will provide additional amps while you are on shore power. I think this was installed on the 2013 and newer models.

Dead outlets

Got outlets fixed by resetting GFI. I was not pushing reset in hard enough with finger. Needed small screwdriver to slowly push in until in clicked. Thanks everyone. Merry Christmas

By pressing the inverter button, you have enabled it. It is not 'on'. The inverter will not be 'on' (functioning) unless you have no external power to coach. The inverter is passing shore or generator power to the coach. Pls read owner's manual.

Sorry for hijacking thread.
