2008 Itasca Latitude diesel ???

We are going to check out a 2008 Itasca Latitude Diesel, king bed, 39W, with under 7,000 miles. We are going to compare the ride to pricier diesels. While it is a four bag unit the bags are supposedly the largest in the industry. The price is right. Please give me your opinions on this coach.

39w

We have the gas Model UFO Chassis. Our opinion is you will either love or dislike the interior, To us a great floorplan. Just wished the drivers seat could turn all the way around

You're going from a Monaco to a Winnebago? Isn't that kind of like going from a Cadillac to a Chevrolet? Just curious, always thought Monaco was king of the road.

Sorry I can't help you with your question--but I went from a 2004 Monaco Diplomat to a 2002 Winnebago Journey and fell I purchased an upgrade!

Good luck with your decision.

My Simba has a total of 5 recalls that are NOT covered by Monaco because of the bankruptcy. Two of them are price prohibitive. I didn't know this when I bought it, so the dealer is going to make things right, no matter what I buy. I am not happy with the Simba. Looks nice, but the ride is a disaster! There are two recalls on the Latitude, but they will be fixed free of charge by the company. I had a gas Itasca Suncruiser some years ago and really liked it, so I am thinking that the ride should be even better in the diesel. I'll find out soon with a test drive. The gas Itasca that we used to have rode better than this Simba.

We liked the coach. The floor plan is great. It has 7 or 8 extras/options. It is so nice not having that TV hanging in the cockpit. It is in the living area with a home like setup, where it should be. Drove nice. All that is left is to get our two trade-ins ready and work out the bottom line.

Is this a fair price for 2008 Latitude diesel?

I am looking at a 2008 Latitude Diesel 39W on a freightliner chassis with under 7,000 miles. The dealer will take care of the two recall items and anything else that needs attention. It looks like new! I can get this coach for $115,000. What do you think of the price? It seems like a good price, but I want other's opinions.

There is a 2008 "New" Latitude at Camper Country in Myrtle Beach. I'm sure you can get a deal on this coach. It's a 39W on a Workhorse UFO Chassis.

One other option you need to look at would be an Adventurer Limited. Now that's a nice coach that just about anyone can really appreciate. There are a few of them available and they are not too far from featuring a similar floorplan to the 39W. Don't buy until you have had the chance to at least drive one of them.

That sounds like a good price. I did a search and I think I saw the one you're looking at. I don't recall seeing any at a better price.

Thanks, I couldn't find that model and year coach for less either.
