2006 Tour? Would you buy?

Hi All,

I have run across a super clean looking 2006 tour, at what appears to be a great price and low 30k miles.

The unit is on a dealers lot, and I was just curious if anyone here could lend any thoughts regarding the unit, it's age, and what to watch out for at a dealer lot.

This unit is on our consideration list against some new, but lower quality units.

Thanks!

Could use some data on the unit, ie model, asking price, extras on unit.

It's this guy, but the dealer listing doesn't say much. Sales guy told me the vin would be here too (on their site) which it's not. And he told me in person, 109,000

Visually, everything looked very very nice.

NADA Bluebook $98K to $119K. Go for the gold, shoot the moon, offer $100K after close inspection and ask for a guarantee\warranty

I wouldn't even offer the low retail listed in NADA. Low ball them. All they can say is no. They will come back with a counter offer. Don't accept that either. Make another offer and see where it goes. You may be surprised.
They probably took that unit in trade and gave the previous owner next to nothing,so they can move it off their lot very cheap.

The flooring appears to have been replaced, why? Water damage?
I see lots of scratches in the flooring from the slides, would need to be replaced, then some way to keep it from happening again.
Also looks like floor damage around the toilet.
Rear radiator? That would be a deal breaker for me, after having two rigs with side radiators.
Full height pass through bays would also be a deal breaker, again, having had two rigs with it.
But, if you can get it for a good price (below low wholesale) and it otherwise checks out it might be worth it.

I had good luck with a similar 2008 Tour 40TD. Other than floor plan, there probably aren't many differences.

Looks like the sctraches in the floor are from the slides. Looks like there isn't enough height when the slides come in to clear the floor those slides raise up then come in perhaps the thickness of the flooring they installed is creating a problem. I would pass on it unless the dealer fixed the problem. The floor ruins the appearance of the interior.
