If the 2005 Journey is similar to mine and I suspect it is then all that has to be done to correct the steering wheel alignment problem is a simple drag link adjustment.
Mine was about 15 degrees off and the dealer tried unsuccessfully to pull the steering wheel to correct the situation. They could not get the wheel off so did not fix it.
Since I already had an alignment scheduled with Henderson's as recommend on new MH's I asked them to check it. They corrected it without removing the steering wheel, just adjusted the drag link at no addition charge over the alignment quote.
