2004 Sightseer 30 foot leveler location

My Sightseer didn't have levelers and I bought a NOS Power Gear system to install on it but there is no installation instructions. Power gear was helpful but had no instructions for this system. My question is where is the best location for them on the chassis? In front of the differential? Behind it? What about the front ones? Thanks

No instructions? Wow, you'd think they'd be out there somewhere...

The parts manual has some diagrams and pictures of the various components Winnebago used. It's a start...

2004 Sightseer parts catalog Page 51 has the levelers.

And doing some googling....

Installation guide That it? It's at the Powergear website...

On our 2008 Sightseer 29R F53 chassis the fronts are just behind the wheels at 4' from the front of the frame rail. The rears are a bit back from the axle and are 5' from the rear of the frame rail. That's on the Ford 16,000 lbs chassis. I can post pics or get more exact measurements if you'd find it of use.

Al,
Are you sure on that 16k chassis? I had a 2006 29R and it was definitely 18K F53. I think it would be very strange to go backwards.

My bad, you're correct. It is the 18,000 chassis. Senior moment here.
