Well, i finally spent the money and bought a LCD flat panel 32" tv to replace the 27" RCA tube tv in the overhead cabinet.
Installation is pretty straight forward, but not complete as I am also upgrading my antenna system to the new MotoSat MDHTV system.
If you would like to see pictures of the project, email me and I'll send them out when I'm done. Plan is to finish by Sunday.

Jim,
Why don't you post the pix to the IRV2 photo section. Then give a new post on your project and insert some links within your post to these pictures. I'm sure that there are a number of IRV2 members who would be interested in your project. That way you don'thave to send out all those emails.
If you need any help with uploading stuff or imbedding links in your post send me a PM or email and I'll be glad to help you any way I can.

I would like to see pictures as well. We converted my 04 Advantage to the 32" Flat Panel TV that comes standard with the Freedom. Was not a big deal after getting the proper brackets from Winnebago. You will love it for sure if you get the HDTV cranked up.

If you click on any member's name on the left a menu pops up. Select, "View Public Profile". There you will see the email address. It's generally not a good idea to display email addresses in any public forums because spam robots can crawl the web looking for email addresses so that they can add you to a spam list. By hiding it within the profile they won't see it.

Subguns: Can you post the Part numbers for the brackets you used? Did you have to modify the existing wood enclosure?
Thanks

Sorry but I do not have the part numbers available. Any dealer can look them up for you by using a 2004 Ultimate Freedom as the guide. There were some modifications to the wood that surrounds the TV. You must remove about 3/4" from each side and order trim pieces from the Freedom on the top and bottom to match your wood finish. This was for the factory Sony 32" Plasma Model# KE-32TS2 that comes standard on the Freedom. You may find another TV that works just as well. Good luck...

Sorry it's taken so long to get the pictures posted. The project is pretty much finished except for the trim pieces that are at the carpenters being cut.
I won't be including any pictures of the MotoSat installation. I upgraded to the MHDTV model and it was professionally installed. Took the guy less than 40 minutes, not counting the phone calls to Directv to activate the new DirecTV HD DVR. Pretty straightforward install....find spot on roof (just aft of my Winegard crankup), goop up screw spots with self leveling sealant, put antenna in spot, screw down, more sealant, run cables to front, drill hole (small cry here), drop cables into the front cap, cover, more sealant, install controller, test. Remove Winegard antenna (just the antenna, left the mount intact in case we sell the coach).
Since the TV had already been removed, it was a piece of cake for the installer.
I should be getting the trim pieces this week. Should have pictures by the weekend. Digital camera failed me, so I had to use film and then get them on CD.
