newbie - I am currently using a connection from a home where there was previously a motorhome, I have a micro minnie 1808...needs a 30 amp connection, I bought the connection plug for 50 to 30 to plug in for electricity. Do I need both a 50 amp surge protector while connected to the house, AND a 30 amp surger protector for campsights ?? OR can I plug the 30 amp surge protector into the 50/30 converter plug ? I know nothing about electric and am trying to learn here so I dont ruin my applicates and blow out my electrical system. Any help would be appreciated - grandma camper

You only need a 30A surge protector. The fact that the service is capable of providing 50A is immaterial.
