Silverleaf Solution Convince Me

Much research has been done, but I still feel inconclusive.

Backstory - year before last, I went through a Red Warning Light - Stop Engine incident. The check engine light had flashed the night before as we pulled into the last campground. Mobile techinician deployed - problem could not be duplicated and we drove the last 300 miles with no further recurrence.

Later the next week, we were taking the rig to Cummins dealer when it happened again. This time a tow truck was deployed and rig towed to Cummins.

The fault turned out to be a failed radiator fan.

My first question is, will the Silverleaf solution read and interpret the failure Cummins error code?

Second question, what are the overall benefits to upgrading to the Silverleaf solution?

Happy New Year, Bob

If you haven't read this page already, it will give you a lot of info about the VMSpc software. (VMSpc Users Forum | SilverLeaf Electronics, Inc.) The system connects to the coach data bus and will read the data from whatever engine sensors are used on your engine.

Silverleaf is very customer oriented, and will readily answer any questions you may have. Call them at (888) 741-0259 and ask for Art (ex-Air Force).

PapaRed; Thank you for the response. A lot of water passed under the bridge after my query and it's time to get ready for the next RVing season.

Aim High
