For most of us this is standard operating procedure "SOAP" check we call it. I have never pulled a foot with out first checking all the lights including the toads. I hope every one does. You make a good point though.

Of course we have. My wife checks the various lights as I turn them on and off, however she was standing at the front and at the back when I operated the turn signals. NOW she knows to check the front marker lights during the turn signal checks.

On the fire wall drivers side on a Workhorse chassis I found a coil of wires with pairs of wires marked for signal wires for directionals. Plan to add mid-signal lights useing these wires.

The whole object of this thread was regarding adding turn signals to the side of the coach so that those drivers alongside you, or at 90 degrees to you could see your intention to turn. I don't believe that anyone stated that they did not check thier light operation. It is common on european vehicles to have both side turn signals as well as side marker lights.
Maybe I got the wrong impression of this thread when the people postinng talked about purchasing extra lights. ounting them and connecting them to there directional indicator (turn signals).
