Outlets don't work
Hey guys, new to the motorhome stuff. Need some help. Have a 2004 itasca meridian 36g problem is I'm not getting any power to any outlets inside unit and TV's aren't working. Problem persists using generator and shore power. Main a/c unit and all lights/fans work fine. Checked all fuses and circuit breakers and couldn't find any tripped or broken. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Your AC runs on 110 most of the lights etc work off 12v. I would check your outlets to see which ones are GFI it sounds like that could be part of your problem. Does the frig work on AC? How about the water heater does it work on AC? If those all work it really could be the GFI outlets. Good Luck

our 2004 35u did that last winter when the dw used the wrong plugin in the bedroom for her hairdryer. It took a while to track it down but it was the gfi on the inverter. Ours is in a cabinet above the pass. seat by the BOMB.

Find the " uphill " GFCI outlet and push the button in . Cures 99.9 % percent on alternating current problems . You should also study/learn what runs on 110 volt AC and what runs on 12 volt DC [ battery }.

I've tried reset every gfci outlet. Nothing changes. Is it possible there's an outlet that's completely bad and would need need to be changed?

Is there a hidden GFCI? Likely on or near the inverter.

Its not unknown to have a GFCI go bad once in a great while.

If the GFI is bad it will not reset and you should be able to tell.

We are getting ready for a trip and just found out that the TV's and 120 outlets in the back of our 2018 View are not working. The front outlets work but nothing in the back.
Have only been able to find one GFI and it is ok. Any suggestions where another might be.

Here's the Body, 110 Volt Wiring Diagram for your coach. (Full wiring diagrams for your coach are here: Wiring Diagrams.)
According to the 2004 Meridian Brochure the standard inverter is a small 300W unit for the entertainment systems, but the 2000W full-house inverter was an option. If you have the full-house inverter (should have a panel at the bottom of the OnePlace Center) almost all of the outlets, etc. should go through the inverter. There should be an additional breaker on the inverter itself that may have tripped.

Is it possible that the inverter switch is in the off position? see 110vac wiring diagram page 2 at position C3 on drawing.

Inverter GFI

When I organized (cleaned up the rats nest) my wiring circuits due to a simple hidden fuse on disconnect solenoid, I discovered that inverter unit had an integrated GFI receptacle protecting output circuits (bed/sleeping area, television rear & front areas). Since my invertor was located in non-copious space in an exterior compartment, I replaced the GFI receptacle with a receptacle providing visible (red led light) indication of tripped status (available at most home supply stores)

I just had the exact same problem with the exact same solution. half of my outlets weren't working (the half that didn't appear to be connected to a GFCI) but it was the GFCI on the inverter that had tripped. Reset it, and everything was fine.

The GFCI on my inverter actually went bad and I had to replace it. I now carry a spare GFCI plug.
