No Panel Lights Norcold 120X Refridge

We had a power outage during a storm last night and since that the panel lights on the Norcold refridge have gone out. No panel lights at all. This unit has had the temp monitor recall installed and the board has a red led lit. I am sure it just needs to be reset but have no idea how. We are out on a trip so any help will be appreciated.

You can reset it by placing a magnet on it till the light goes out I believe.

Think he was saying there is a red light on the front panel board NOT on the recall box on the back?

OP ...is the fridge running/cooling? I had the eyebrow board in the panel go out once and caused the diisplay to go blank. I junked my 1201 last summer and kept a few pieces ...don't know why, guess I am just a collector. I am in E Texas.

Norcold

I have a norcold and should have had what sound like the same problem. Which ours had no green light on panel on door of frig or when frig door open no inside light also on the recall box the red light was on. This has happened during a hard rain or washing the RV. Wait and let thing cool down, then take a magnet and hold it for a short time just above and slightly to the right of red light on recall box. This is with frig turn on. Should hear a click. Red light should go out and all should be normal.

Is the red light flashing or on solid?

Norcold

When this has happened to us the red light on the recall box always is on. Plus the green light on the door is out also the light inside the fridge is off. When you use the magnet to reset the box you will hear a click and red light will go off. The light on fridge door will come on.

make sure you do not have green residue from a refrigeration leak before you reset the ''recall'' box with a magnet. a fire could ensue.

Board Bad

Well I have tried to reset but no luck with magnet. Reed switches are easily operated with magnet so I assume some component has gone bad in the ckt. board. Norcold should seal this unit from moisture if this is going to happen in a rain storm or wash job. Bad Mod Norcold!!!!!!!
