Doug,
Mine is located inside the Power and water bay, next to the exterior water pump switch. Meridian 34H (04). Good luck!

Yep, that's the way it was on my 2003 Suncruiser too. I added a second switch on the dash so that I could operate it from within the coach to see what went "bump" in the night. I used a standard Winnebago fog lamps rocker switch because it was illuminated so I knew if it was on or not.

Yep mine too! As for the location of the left side porch- that's under the awning of the rig parked next to you!

My left side "porch" light was right over the water service compartment. That did make it difficult to properly illuminate the left side porch or patio areas because the "roof" over the porch was very thick - probably because of the couch and dinette and stuff in it. You also had to be very careful if you were on a recliner and got up suddenly or else you'd hit your head. It was great for limbo contests though.

I have a switch by the front door that turns on the passenger side light and a rocker switch in the water/electrical compartment that turns on both the compartment light and the left outside light. Hope this helps.

Guys,

I visited the m/h today in storage and started it up to charge the batteries.

I found the switches in the electrical compartment up high and with black rocker switches on a black background. I guess it was one of those bets on the assembly line to see who could hide the switches from the old guy!!

Thanks for the help!!

Doug

Doug, that's the way my "emergency" LP switch is in the front driver's Storemore compartment..

I am going to do "something" to make it RED

My experience with emergencies is that time matters and the easier something is to spot, the better it is.....

If I'm "detained" and send someone there to turn it off, seems a better chance they'd see it...

(It's that darn "firefighter blood" coming out in me.... )

Doug,
Thanks for posting the question. I have not needed the light and actually forgot about it.

I could not find the switch nor could my dealer. Dealer called Winne, they told us to look in the coampartment as stated on the posts.

Interesting to note they were NOT marked. One turned on the water pump, the other the left side light. Guess they thought when I needed the light I would be in compartment getting the cords and hoses. Makes sense.

Hey Cruzer-What kind of re-wiring did you have to do to get a switch at the dash? That was one of my questions for the dealer, where was the left out-side light switch. I was used to be able to turn on both side lights on my Fleetwoods to see what went bump in the night too. I can't imagine a manufacturer putting the switch in an outside compartment like they did, real good design by someone who probably has never spent a single night in an RV.
