Do you have an iPhone 4. 4s 5 3 3G.

What model? Also if you press the top button and the bottom button of the front. Hold them down until the apple appears. You will not lose any data or names. You should do this every couple of days. It reboots the phone.

I can only think that the camera frequency is inter fearing with the wifi. It's hard to believe the frequencies would be that close.

what exactly are you trying to do? Use the IPHONE as your internet source?

Unless you are paying extra for the "HOTSPOT" feature you will have to jailbreak the iphone. Next get PDAnet app. This will broadcast an SSID you can connect to.

You don't by chance have the iPhone sitting close to the camera? The camera putting out a stronger signal is simply blocking the iPhone wifi. I learned decades ago never say never on electronics and wireless is even more susceptible to problems. It's just finding what is happening for you.

I tried moving the phone to the back of the rv with same results. did not move the computer though. I can live with the interference now that I know what the trouble is. hope maybe the post can help someone else if they experince similar trouble.

Ok, your cell phone is a radio, Both transmitter and receiver,, Your Wi-Fi, is a radio (two of them actually and also both 2-way) Your wireless camera is a Radio (one transmitter, One receiver)

Clearly the Camera is on either the cell phone frequency or trhe Wi-Fi channel.

Now I do not have a I-device of any kind, but on MANY Wi-Fi devices you can set the "Ad-Hock" channel (On a hot spot this is the channel it will use to talk to your computer) Normally the default out of box is six Since I'm licenesed to use the frequency that includes chan 1 (At a much higher power) I use 1,, You might try 11.. Those 3 channels do not cross with each other.. 2,3,4 and 5 cross with either 1 or 6, 7 8 9 and 10 either six or 11.

Your best bet might be to use the USB only setting on the hot spot. Then should be no problems. Could be a little faster to. Just a thought. Wireless is nice but slower.

I was gonna say this next. Change the WIFI channels.

Another option is to get a Access point with WIFI wan. This will allow you to connect to the iphone with the AP, and the AP will broadcast the SSID with much more power than the iphone.

Another option is to connect to the Iphone via usb, then get a standard wireless router and plug that into the ethernet port and create a actual infrastructure wifi network.
