I have a 1993 Adventurer 37RW and I was wondering how to modify it to run both on shore power. Thanks

Probably can't unless you wire one so it can be plugged directly into the power pedestal.

I'm sure one of the forum electrical experts will jump in and advise you better than me but a/c units take lots of juice and you need 50 amps to run both.

I'm able to run both of mine on 30amp, the energy management system handles things and balances the loads and shuts down other items as needed. If you don't have that type of system, you can turn off all other electronics, switch your fridge to gas and probably be fine.

As has been discussed in this forum, the Dual Power adapter from http://www.psrv.net is a good solution, especially if you don't have power management.

There are also adaptors that will allow you to convert two 30's into a 50. We have one, and it works just fine. However, it can be hit and miss.

You have to go in with the understanding that with most high-tech circuits you have to find two 30A receptacles that are on different "legs" of the 240 circuit - which may or may not be easy where you are. It works just fine, everywhere, on a friend's '96 American Dream - but not on my '05 Vectra.

We run both basement units on 30A service. If BW runs the UWave, the PMS kicks the second unit down until the UWave shuts off and then kicks the second unit back on (minus the recovery time of the unit as defined by the PMS).
