How to Fix or Replace this Antenna?
I have three of these and two are like the one with the missing top part of the antenna.

I just replaced one on my 2005 Vectra with a new one purchased from Lichtsinn's. The new one looked just like the 10-year old ones, except that the dimensions of the base/mounting screw had changed slightly so that I couldn't use the new whip with the old base. I had to replace the whole thing (and spend time fishing the coax back out of the hole after it disappeared down inside the coach!). The new antenna was $15.95 including shipping.

Wow, that seems like a lot of work, especially since I have one up front and one in the rear to replace.
What did you need to do to fish that cable through?

It's pretty simple if you don't drop the cable . I was replacing the rear antenna and managed to drop the cable down into the wall underneath it, so I had to remove the LCD TV in the bedroom to reach in and grab it and feed it back up through the roof.
In retrospect I would recommend tying a string to the cable before removing the old antenna--that would have eliminated my problem entirely.
Btw, no new cables are involved, just re-attaching the old ones to the new antenna.

In addition to Lichtsinn, WinnebagoParts.com has online ordering for most parts. Here's a link to their site and catalog (antenna is on page 47):
Catalog & Documentation | WinnebagoParts.com | Winnebago RV Parts
I got two replacement antennas through them and have installed one. I bought the ones without a new cable lead, here's the Winnebago part number and what it looks like.

Awesome, thanks for the link. When I touched the one still intact while washing the roof, the black material (rubber?) was coming off onto my hand and the roof. So now I need three as I tossed that puppy off the roof.

I found one of mine broken last week. Probably should order 2 I found them here for $9.85 each. Thats if I'm looking at the right antenna.
Magnadyne RV71-WN Radio Antenna - 16 Inch, Black : Audio and Video
also found them on Amazon $9.85 + $7.20 shipping so they all seem to come out around $25.00ish. Just noticed it was sold by Winnebago Outdoor so its the same place. sigh.

If it's just the mast broken / missing, in other words if you see threads sticking up that do not appear damaged, then most likely you can get by with a universal replacement antenna mast.
I bought a handful of these Metra Replacement masts at Advance Auto. There is a selection of adapters in the package, and so far I haven't found an antenna stub that I couldn't make one of these work.
Now, if the base and coax is damaged, then you'll need to do a complete replacement.

We had the masts on the ones on our 2001 Adventurer come loose a couple times. Luckily they got caught against the shower skylight rather than rolling off the roof. The second time it happened I put a little 242 Loctite on the threads before screwing it back on. Never had another problem.

Good suggestion, the replacements arrive Saturday.

I was able to take the metal adapter and stud out and just put the top back on the base. It shortened the antenna by almost 2 inches, but seems to work fine.

Wish I'd seen this thread a week ago. Have the dirty hands from the rubber oxiding off and a dropped antenna lead in the front cap. Thanks for the Amazon link, if you search 090944-01-000 on Amazon it gives you a picture of the antenna with the lead, so you can see what is inside the roof.
I disconnected all 3 rubber ducky antennas and heard no difference in AM reception or FM reception (piz por Magnadyne Radio I think).
Anyone replaced these with Marine type? (Mar16..Amazon)
In the old days Automobile AM radio's had a tuning cap accessible on the rear to match the antenna and lead to the radio input. Made a big difference when replacing antenna and cables.

The front lead:
The front antenna I took off.
I really can't hear any difference between this and the new antenna. Maybe when I have a new head unit and in an area with better radio stations.

I replaced all 3 on our 2009 Adventurer. Bought them at Walmart in the automotive section. They work fine.

Did those include the base? All three bases/mounts on mine were deteriorating - rubber was oxidizing and when wet, water would flow off of them black. Touching them would result in black stains on my hands.

Nomad Mike,
I reused the original bases and screwed the new mast to the post.
