Horizon pilot and copilot lights
What turns the foreward lights (above the pilot and copilot seats) on?

On my Tour, the light above the drivers head is operated by the dash mounted switch that dims the dash lights by rotating past the first stop. The passenger light is operated by a separate switch by the door. If you do not a a passenger side switch maybe the dash switch operates both?

Pilot and copilot lights
Thanks! The knob on the dash worked for the driver side. There is a switch by the door, but, it doesn't seem to do anything,we are going to do some continuity checks, maybe we can get the passanger light to work.

Mine operate the same as MDPD.
There are many Horizons, please add your model and year to the signature bar, it will help greatly with your next question.
And Welcome to the best RV site on the web!

rgvtexan,
At the risk of sounding a bit negative, I too sure wish folks would put in the make/model/year etc. of the coach in question when asking for help. So many times the question is really "coach oriented" and is not common place for all models of the same make. it's too bad the site can't be redesigned so that all that info "MUST" be present before a question can be asked. Sure would make things a lot easier.

Are you sure that the light bulb has not burned out? Or the bulb socket has corrosion so there is no contact (I have experienced both of these recently). A new bulb ... some WD-40 on a rag fixed the situations.

Did you swap the bulbs? My Meridian has the passengers sw on the console under the window. And, as mentioned above, please give us more detail about your rig. Welcome to the forum.

Paul,
On my unit both the passenger switch and the button on the light must be in the "on" position for the light to work. But then, we don't know which year or model you have.
