Headlight switch

The headlight switch on my 2005 Journey can be turned to the right to turn on the lights ,but can also be pulled out..What does the pull out function do ? I can find no reference to this in the owners manual of the RV or the manual for the Freightliner chassis ..

Does it look like this?

Fog lights? Is that a fog light icon on the knob?

Is there a separate switch for the fog lights? May be a left over function not used by Winnebago.

Tim ; is the arrow in the wrong place in your posted photo?

FYI; The combination switch ( headlight/fog light/dash light dimmer) in your photo, is a match for the one in my 2000 Dodge Caravan , for light function and , led in the center of the knob, for fog lights. Just in case you ever need to look for a replacement.

Arrow is from whatever someone was posting about, should have mentioned that. Best/quickest I could find a picture with the headlight switch in it.

Wonder if a Dodge Journey uses the same switch?

That's a fog light function that isn't used by Winnebago, who installed a separate switch.

The dash and switches changed frequently , when I retied in 07 , the Caravan like mine; 2000, had been redesigned for production from 2001>2005 then again for 2006 and the Journey hadn't been introduced. I'll try and post a picture soon of my switch. Not 100% sure , but I think that Lucas was the supplier, for the 2000 anyway.
