Did you mean 7500? Check fuel filter(s). Had a similar situation with mine. New filter at genset and removed inline filter installed by Tiffin. Starts and runs great now.

What he said was: "the coach will start, but the generator with damn near but it lacks or something is stopping it".
I have no idea what that means.
If you understand what "with damn near but it lacks or something is stopping it" means please explain it.
Thanks

It is code. He means his engine starts and the generator almost starts but then it wont like it is starving for fuel or spark which is why he was checking the fuses yet determined those are okay so now he needs to check filters like znt suggests. Probably post with phone and does not proof read before sending is my guess.

Ok are you saying:
The Generator starts, but apply a load (usually happens 30 seconds later) and it dies?
If so I'll not repeat the advice above.. Nor can I amplify it.. If you do not know how to fix it you will need professional help.
Or are you saying The generator starts but no power out?
The Onan line, usually, senses when it's got output or not. If the generator is NOT making 120vac, it simply shuts down and flashes an error code (low cranking speed/Low battery, which is not the problem).
Then there are usually TWO circuit breakers, On mine it is very hard to tell if they are ON or OFF without a flashlight to shine on the indicator (I fixed that by labeling the OFF side, Thank you Brother P-Touch).
Then it goes to one of two things. One is an outlet, matching the RV's pwoer cord (Manual transfer system or poor man's transfer switch)
The other is ye old black box, called an Automatic transfer switch.
My suspiscion is this (The transfer system) is where your problem lies.
(If not the breakers).
Good luck, I am not often visiting here just now and only reading messages on rare occasions.

Ok, make sure you have more then 1/3 tank of fuel.
Generators don't run with less the 1/4 tank.
That is so you never get stuck out of fuel.

If this is a gas engine generator, the carb could be gummed up from the old gas left in it.
When storing for long duration, you should pull off gas line and run it until it stalls.
If it's gummed up, it will need to be opened and cleaned.

I have the same motorhome and generator as yours. I have never had a starting problem although I use mine a lot (1,100 hours).
I would suggest cranking on it a bit more but make sure everything is off.
This is my completely unprofessional opinion and should be taken as such.

When my Onan generator would not start I found and fixed the problem using this troubleshooting guide:

Its known that all the gens must be run several hours per month or they have problems. Gumming etc. as I was told by dealer mechanic, a gen with more time is better than a lightly used one. Hope u get it going without visiting the shop.
When you do get it going use it!
