Fuse box fan

We have a Micro Minnie 1808fbs that we’ve had for one year. We’ve only been out 6 times so far and I just picked it up from the dealer following an annual warranty check. We are having some pretty high temps here in Houston. There is a fan running in the fuse box area and I have never heard that running before. It started when I plugged it in at home. Is this normal to keep that area cooled?

You must be referring to the fan that is in the power converter unit, which is generally combined with the 120V circuit breakers and the 12v fuses. The power converter takes 120v and makes 12v to charge the batteries and run the 12v items such as fans, lighting, control circuits for the fridge and other devices.

Yes, it is temp operated. so if the temps are high, the fan will be running. It is normal.

Thanks Charles. After posting the question I went through all the manuals that I received when the Minnie was purchased. Sure enough, there it is. Only a sentence or two, but did state there’s a temp controlled fan to keep that area cooled.
Thanks again.
