I am looking for an alternate source or bulb for a 2001 Journey round fog lamp. Both of mine had the lenses pop off and the OEM is $55 each which seems high.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Do a search on Journey Fog Lamp and you will find several suggestions...one of the members found both lights for $30 I believe.

Randy: Check out AutoAnything.com. I switched out my fog lights for some Street Scene driving lights. Big difference at night and I have them adjusted low right. I had to modify the stock bracket but I can sure light up a dark highway. The stock switch and wiring worked fine.

Hi all,

I want to replace the stock fog lamps from my 2002 Itasca 34HD with a driving lamp that will truly supplement the light output of the headlights. One of my fog lamp lens is broken, and more light is needed for night driving.

(Separately, I have just upgraded the standard headlights from stock to Hella H4 7" round lights with legal bulbs).

The stock fog light has a "K11" on the lens, is 4.75" in dia, and I think it is part 133115-01-000 Lamp Asm. Fog-Clear, Round, from the Winnebago catalog. These use a replaceable halogen light.

These also have a diffuse type fog lens - not clear beam type lens. Can the lens be replaced with a clear beam lens? The light has a bottom mount back at 45 deg angle and uses a large 3/8 bolt.

What is a suitable replacement for a Driving light?

Has any tried the Winnebago 151421-01-000 Lamp Asm. Fog-Clear, Round lights? This looks like a smaller light with a clear beam lens.

The Hella FF 200 at 5.63" wide might be too big for the front cap, but there seems to be extra room if the bottom mount would fit.

I cannot find a single 4.75" round driving light with a bottom mount, except for like ATV lights, e.g. Kc Hilites - Auxiliary Lighting - ATV 5-Inch Round Driving Light System With Black Rubber Housing & Mounting Brackets - which are far from street legal but are the right size and have the bottom bracket that could be angled back at 45 deg.

Hella Optilux are too small and the bracket does not fit for the 45 deg bottom mount.

The PIAA - Auxiliary Lighting - 510 Series 55W=85W Super White Driving Lamp Kit may fit the bill - smaller than stock but the right bottom mount. Wow, Expensive! $200. The PIAA - Auxiliary Lighting - 540 Series 55W=110W Xtreme White Driving Lamp Kit - might work - a little bigger than stock.

Has anyone out there replaced the stock fog lamps on a Winnebago or Itasca?

Thanks, Jeff.

Hi all,

I'm replacing the fogs with driving lights. The fog circuit only works in low beam, so I need to rewire the connections since driving lights can only work in high beam or manual control. I don't want to tie into the high beam circuit as the load for that circuit is already determined. So I need to tie in independent of the lights.

What tie locations have you used to do this job up front? Behind the fuse box door there seems no good spot to tie in. The lights have an independent fuse. Where is a good spot up front?

I'm putting in the PIAA 510 Series Driving Lamp Kit.
Jeff

Jeff, I wired my running lights into the fog light switch. Works fine and is independent. If you need to just connect a wire on the hot side of the battery relay and fuse it. Good luck.

You will enjoy the extra visibility the driving lights provide.

2002 Winnebago Journey Fog Lamp

I needed to replace one of the fog lamp lenses due to a stone crack. After a lengthy search I found the lenses on eBay and will be detailing this below. The link is where I found the $27.05 for two lenses with 2X bulbs.

Fog Lights Fits Mustang 87-93 Fog Light Stock/Clear Lens Only 2Pc Set

Fog Lights Set OE Stock/Clear w/ Bulb (Lens Only) Compatible with 1987-1993 Ford Mustang Cobra GT. This replacement is ideal for restoring your Mustang with a Factory Style "Fluted" Fog Lens. Measuring 4 3/4" in diameter, these come with bulbs. Bracket and Hardware Not Included.

Condition: New Other Part Number: FO2592102 Fitment Type: Direct Replacement Year: 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 Certifications: DOT, SAE Years: 1987-1993 Lens Color: Clear OEM Number: E7ZZ 15200 A Housing Color: Chrome UPC: 847522012636

Interchange Part Number: FO2592102 E7ZZ 15200 A 331-2002N-AS 116-03100 FRL-3100 Brand: PERDE

Placement on Vehicle: Front, Left, Right Partslink-number: FO2592102 Warranty: 10 Million Miles Bulbs Included: Yes Manufacturer Part Number: FR904-B001P

My Comment: The lenses needed the ground hole to be drilled with a #37 bit to fit the OEM sheetmetal screw and the bottom bracket needs to be bent a bit so it fits housing fixture. All this is a 10 minute job. I am very happy with the bulbs.

Why are you bothering with the fog lamp? If you want better light while driving at night, assuming that is your goal, have you tried replacing your OEM light bulb with the Sylvania "Ultra" bulbz? This will improve your night driving visibility by 40+%.

CharlesMoore: Thanks for the tip on where to buy fog lights for less!

I replaced those of my Ultimate Advantage with Hella's LED fog lights.

They are cheaper and durable and are much lighter than the original.

2002 Winnebago Journey Fog Lamp Cont.

Good questions, info and thanks for reading. We rarely drive at night because I do not want thousands of bug splats so distance ranging is not an issue. We do use it in rain or bad weather during the day. I just like things to work so I replaced the 1 bulb and have a spare (which I will probably lose before I use it). In some respects, the info I post is for myself to record for myself the deed and what I did.

I am glad to have your information here as well. Perhaps I can use it if I decide to make the project a bit more onerous ±. HOWEVER, if the project grew to include headlamp replacement and fog lamps my ears would be bending to hear. Please consider posting you own project here or a Youtube would be wonderful and I am sure very well received.
